“Welcome to another episode of Beyond the Desk.
Today, we are so beyond the desk that we're actually on my back patio. I was trying to decide where I wanted to shoot this episode in my house, and the rooms just were not light and bright enough for me.
So the back patio was definitely speaking to me. Several weeks ago, I had spent the afternoon trying to clean up this area.
We have our Blackstone grill out here, and it can kind of gum up the space if you're not consistently wiping it down and getting all of the smoke and grease out of this room. It's a screened-in patio.
So like my ceiling fan, I still need to clean it, but this ceiling, I really keep looking up at it, and I'm like, I think I want to paint it.
So I asked my audience, and overwhelmingly, everybody wanted me to paint it blue. So I went to Lowe's, I got this great color called Interesting Aqua, and I'm going to paint the ceiling.
This afternoon, I'm probably going to get my O Cedar mop bucket out, put some pine saw in it, and wipe that sucker[…]”
